P Zero Corsa System OE Option On V8 Vantage
The Pirelli P Zero Corsa System has been approved by Aston Martin as a Sports Tyre option on the 2007 V8 Vantage; a handcrafted sports car that offers electrifying performance and outstanding agility, making it one of the world’s most desirable sports cars.
The P Zero Corsa System consists of two tyres with different tread patterns working in unison – Direzionale front and Asimmetrico rear – ideal for use on both road and track; a technical concept to enhance not only performance but also styling.
While the engineering qualities of the system – total grip when cornering, accelerating and braking – stand out in extreme use on both road and track, the synergy developed by the action of the two different tread designs is accentuated in wet driving. With its ultra-efficient lateral water expulsion capacity, the Direzionale prepares the road surface for the Asimmetrico, allowing it to maximize grip, and thus, driver safety.
As a result of collaboration between Aston Martin and Pirelli the 2007 V8 Vantage is now available with a Sports Tyre option consisting of 245/40ZR19 fronts and 285/35 ZR19 rears.
The V8 Vantage has a powerful 4.3-litre, 380 bhp engine designed and built by Aston Martin, giving it a potential maximum speed of 175 mph.
