MAM To Introduce EMI+
MAM Software has announced the forthcoming release of EMI+, a reporting and data analysis tool for its existing Autopart software. The application, which is currently undergoing beta testing, enables businesses to interactively interrogate their sales and product data in order to identify under-performing products or profit weaknesses.
“EMI+ is designed to help our customers improve their bottom line” said Lee Broad, MAM’s Director of Software Development. “Its enables managers to quickly and easily analyse their business, identify trends and highlight opportunities for improvement.”
EMI+ has been developed using the latest Microsoft.Net technologies. It incorporates embedded On Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) functionality, enabling it to analyse extensive multi-dimensional data compiled from various Autopart data sources. Working from pre-built data cubes, the application can perform complex analytical and ad-hoc queries on millions of rows of data with sub-second response times.
EMI+ presents information in a flexible tabular format. Columns can be shown, hidden or sorted and data can be dynamically filtered, pivoted, drilled down and rolled up. EMI+ also contains a rich array of calculation features including aggregation functions; formulas; percentages; and ranking.
Product testing will be completed early next year and EMI+ is expected to be launched in Spring 2007.
