Director Makes Marathon Effort for Charity
Goodyear Dunlop’s UK Director of Consumer, Paul Wilde, has completed one of the world’s most famous races, with the proceeds raised as a result of his effort going to a good cause.
Paul took part in this year’s New York Marathon, running with ten clients from Formula One Autocentres, and covered the marathon’s 26.2 miles in four and a quarter hours.
However Mr. Wilde’s efforts will be appreciated long after the marathon. In conjunction with his race efforts Goodyear Dunlop was able to raise over £4,000 for ‘Children in Need’, a charity that focusing on helping disadvantaged children and young people throughout the UK.
Paul Wilde joined Goodyear Dunlop in 2003 as UK Director for the Consumer Strategic Business Unit and is based at the company’s TyreFort headquarters.
