Cooper to Circle the Globe

Cooper Tire has been named the official tyre supplier for the upcoming Lone Wolf Transglobal Expedition, with Cooper products being fitted to the expedition’s Land Rover Wolf Defender.

Leaving the UK on New Year’s Day, the aim of the Lone Wolf Transglobal Expedition is to circumnavigate the globe in twelve months. To do so the expedition will travel through forty countries in their Defender, built to the specifications of Sir Ranulph Fiennes.

The team’s Defender will be fitted with Cooper’s Discoverer STT tyre, featuring heavy-duty carcass construction and a non-directional tread pattern. The team are carrying only three spares with them, reflecting a high level of confidence in the tyre.

The Discoverer STT is available in the UK in 26 sizes, from 15 to 18-inch diameters and in C, D and E load ratings.
