We Sell Tyres Moves Forwards
East midlands-based We Sell Tyres (wholesale) company is moving its Newark wholesale operation to larger premises situated in Colwick, Nottingham. The move is due to take place in early 2007. The new premises which cover a total of over 40,000 square feet are within easy reach of central Nottingham and will further improve the company’s stock holding facility and existing delivery service into Derbyshire and surrounding areas.
According to company representatives, 2006 has seen sustained growth through all selling channels with exceptional growth in the high performance, and run-flat tyre sector, many of these finding there way via the motor dealership tyre programmes. Equally the core independent tyre shops have remained loyal to the We Sell Tyres price, availability and service aspect.
The new operation will be the company’s flagship site along with Norwich, which also recently located to new and larger premises, there are two other locations at Worksop and Corby, and this makes WST a truly regional wholesaler. In April We Sell Tyres (Wholesale) outgrew its original 15,000 square foot warehouse in Concorde Road, Norwich and can now be found in a 30,000 square foot distribution centre on the Frenbury Estate, Drayton High Road.
At the last count (in April) We Sell Tyres (Wholesale) employed 170 staff across its four branches and sold more than 3000 tyres a day, with 40 delivery vehicles on the road.
Apart from being part of the Tanvic Group, We Sell Tyres is a loyal member of Group Tyre and therefore committed to the sales development of all premium and mid sector brands. But the company does not neglect the sale of exclusive brands (including Marangoni, Federal and Maxxis) with an emphasis on a growing range of high performance car sizes featuring strongly in the Group Tyre portfolio.
Managing director Alan Jackson, commenting on the year’s performance says: “We Sell Tyres prides itself with being totally customer focused and have a broad customer base ranging from Independent tyre shops to national motor dealerships and we don’t just promise great service but actually deliver it! With each location being a stand-alone operation-placing customers first is our main priority
“Tyres aren’t sold on a one size fits all basis, and not all customers have the same requirements, being a regional supplier WST are able to make same day and multiple deliveries a reality to most areas Add to this excellent availability of stock and you have a supplier who genuinely cares about its service to customers.”
