Teco Srl is a leading manufacturer of hand truck tyre changers, electronic wheel balancers and pneumatic platform lifts. Based in Correggio, Italy, Teco is a relatively young company, but is already well-known in its field. The company began life in 1985, albeit under a different name, and at that time specialised in the production of components for automotive equipment. However the company’s management had other ambitions. They wanted to introduce a new line of machinery to trade, a line that was completely designed and manufactured in-house.

It was the ambition of the company’s management to bring to the trade a new line of machinery designed and manufactured in-house. The first tyre changers were designed and, gradually, Teco succeeded in becoming a manufacturer of a complete range of automotive machinery, including wheel balancers and platform lifts. The official introduction of the Teco brand was in 1990, the same year that the company changed its name to Teco.

Teco’s business policy can be summed up thus: “Advanced technology, top quality and good service.” Another of the company’s stated aims is to make export sales a priority, where some 80 production is sold. The Teco name is best known in Europe (both EC and Eastern European Countries) and Far-East. Teco is also present in Africa and, more recently, has gone to Australia and the USA. To promote its products on international markets, Teco takes part to the main relevant exhibitions.
