Goodyear and Dunlop star in New Mini Adventure

The Mini was one of the success stories of the UK motor industry over the last five years, and the new Oxford built Mini 2 promises to continue this success. For Goodyear Dunlop, the Mini played a major role in bringing RunOnFlat tyre technology to a wider market, and the new Mini, launched in the UK this week, has Goodyear and Dunlop RunOnFlat tyres as original equipment fitment in all of its 16 and 17-inch wheel options.

The new Mini may look a lot like its predecessor, but it is a new design. The tyres that the new model rides on are all-new too. Goodyear will be supplying the latest all-new Excellence RunOnFlat in 195/55R16 in both H rated and V rated sizes, whilst Dunlop has developed RunOnFlat versions of the SP Sport 01 in 205/45R17(V and W) and 195/55R16 (H and V) for the new car.

The latest evolution of RunOnFlat will help give Mini drivers the highest levels of safety and personal security, allowing them to continue to a place of safety even after a puncture,” stated James Bailey of Goodyear Dunlop UK.
