County Tyres Employees Show Dedication
In an age in which it seems people move jobs on a whim, County Tyres reports that some of its employees have achieved up to four decades of dedication this year. County Tyre Group held it’s Long Service Awards on the 24th October at the County Show Ground in Bristol, showing recognition for some remarkable employees. Nine people have reached the timely milestone of 25 years service, whilst one truly dedicated employee, Alan Clark, is celebrating his 40th year of service.
Commenting on the awards, managing director Brian Duguid said: “the County Tyre Group was established in 1937 and we shall be celebrating our 70th Anniversary next year. As an independent family owned group we still hold onto many traditional values, and this is reflected in the staff who have a depth of knowledge about the tyre industry which is second to none. This reflects when customers contact us, and get the same contact person over the years so that they can develop and advise our customers needs in confidence – not like those cold impersonal call centres that are so prevalent in today’s market.
“We firmly believe that happy employees mean happy customers. In this fast moving industry we want our staff to enjoy their work, and in so doing reflects in the whole of the County Group providing the finest service to our customers.”
