ATS Euromaster Wins Hitachi Capital Fleet Deal

ATS Euromaster has won a three-year deal with Hitachi Capital’s Vehicle Solutions division. The signing of the formal contract follows a successful four-year relationship between the two companies, and sees ATS Euromaster manage all tyre expenditure across the company’s effective maintained fleet of over 26,000 cars and commercial vehicles. It also provides a full range of other fast-fit services including batteries, bulbs, brakes, exhausts, shock absorbers and wipers.

Valued at approximately £4 million per annum, the contract gives all Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions’ customers access to ATS Euromaster’s 24-hour Customer Service Centre. Located at its headquarters in Aston, Birmingham, the facility can arrange mobile tyre fitting or provide directions to the nearest ATS Euromaster Centre. It also uses an efficient online authorisation system, keeping turnaround time for all vehicle maintenance to a minimum.

Tim Bowden, head of operations at Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions, explains: “We awarded the contract to ATS Euromaster as their proposition fulfilled our requirements for both our car and commercial fleet, supported by a competitive pricing structure.”

The Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions fleet ranges from cars and light commercials (95 per cent), to specialist commercial vehicles plated between 7.5 and 44 tonnes. The company supplies vehicles to over 800 firms across the UK and has remained in the upper quartile of the monthly Landmark customer satisfaction survey since 1998, retaining a top three place over a seven year period.
