Chemvulc Marketing manufacture, wholesale and retail the Chemvulc range of tube and tyre repair materials. A complete portfolio of tyre tools, weights, accessories, inflation equipment, automotive valves for passenger to earthmover tyres, retreading equipment and consumables, are produced. These products are supplied to a wide range of tyre dealers and retreaders throughout South Africa and bordering nations. The company has some 60 per cent of the market in tyre repair materials in South Africa. Exports to other countries are constantly developing and enquiries are invited from perspective customers anywhere in the world.
Chemvulc has its main warehouse and offices close to Johannesburg as well as sales operations and stock holding facilities in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein, Durban, Nelspruit and Pietersburg. The company proudly boasts a fleet of mobile showrooms, which ensures distribution to every village and town in South Africa. The company is the exclusive agent in South Africa for MAE curing tubes and envelopes, Titan pre-cured truck tyre tread and the Pincott range of buffing blades. A recent addition is the Rig Rite anti-theft locking nuts for the trucking industry.
Under the name of Chemvulc Vulcanising Systems (Pty) Limited, established in 1977, the company manufactures in three factories near Johannesburg, specialised repair materials and adhesives for damage to passenger, light truck, truck, off-road tyres and tubes. Also, in production is a unique heat bag/airbag repair system for earthmover tyres, as well as industrial rubber products like conveyor belt repair strips and adhesives, rubber cable joints and patches.
“Although initially we may have been slightly apprehensive about attending Tyrexpo Africa, this show has proved to be amazingly successful”, said Chemvulc Marketing director Danny Kirsten. “We have been very impressed with the organisation of Tyrexpo Africa and the quality of visitors to our stand has been exemplary. We will not take a lot of persuading to exhibit next time.”
