New Pirelli P4 Tyre Debuts At SEMA

Pirelli’s new touring line, the P4 Four Seasons, will be on the company’s stand at this year’s SEMA show and the first sizes will be available to dealers from January, 2007. The new line is a “tyre for all seasons” with a silica-rich tread compound and specialised tread design for maximum grip in both wet and snow conditions. Major advances in tread profile, generated from CAD designs, and the very latest tread compounding provide a substantial improvement in wear rate, giving the tyre an extremely long life, says Pirelli.

The P4 Four Seasons comes in a wide range of 24 T-rated sizes ranging from 14″ to 17″ diameter. Typical target vehicles for the new product are small- and medium-sized sedans and minivans, while the typical P4 Four Seasons driver would be someone looking for high mileage, low noise, high levels of comfort and with good grip, no matter how rough the weather.
