Michelin Alpin Recommended by ADAC

The new Michelin Alpin cold weather tyre has been awarded the highest rating – ‘highly recommendable’ in a comparative test conducted by ADAC, the German Automobile Association and Europe’s largest automobile club. ADAC, together with its Austrian and Swiss counterparts—Österreischischer Automobil Motorrad und Touring Club (ÖAMTC) and Touring Club Suisse (TCS)—compared nineteen 185/60 R14 cold weather tyres.

The tyres were tested for their handling on dry and wet surfaces, but especially on snow and ice. Wear resistance was also measured, and in this category the Michelin Alpin got the highest mark. According to ADAC testers, the new Michelin Alpin is “flawless.”
