MAHA Commits to Aftermarket Show
Maha, a world-leader in the garage equipment sector, has confirmed it is set to use January’s Aftermarket Show as a platform for showcasing the latest product in its Dynamometer range. The event will be held at the NEC in Birmingham from 11-14 January. The company, specialists in the manufacture and supply of Brake Testing Equipment, Vehicle Lifts, and Chassis Dynamometers, is returning to the show after enjoying considerable success at the event earlier this year.
However, the focus of its stand in 2007 will be a new Dynamometer product that has been developed to offer a low-cost solution to garages and other testing stations. “We learned a lot more about our customers’ requirements by being at The Aftermarket Show this year, so we are going to use next January’s event to try and capitalise on that,” explained MAHA director of sales and marketing, Kevin Howard.
“There is much more competition in the market at the moment and by introducing a new low-cost machine that we think will have big appeal at The Aftermarket Show, we are continuing to strengthen our position at the top of the sector.”
MAHA plans to exhibit at numerous trade shows in the coming months, but Howard says the chance to return to The Aftermarket Show in 2007 was too good an offer to turn down.
“We had an awful lot of interest in our company and products the last time we were at The Aftermarket Show and we thought the show was a very interesting proposition for a company that is trying to increase its share in a given sector,” he added. “There are a lot of extremely knowledgeable people that go to the show and it’s a useful exercise to put ourselves in front of them and listen to what they have to say.”
