RMA Sees Tread Stock Shipments Up

(Akron/Tire Review) RMA says that continued economic growth will lead to a 1.7 per cent boost in tread rubber shipments for truck tyre retreads through the end of this year. That forecast falls below 2005’s 1.9 per cent shipment growth rate, RMA said. If the prediction holds, it will mark the fourth consecutive year that shipments increased.
