Advan Tyres Approved for Brabus Rocket
Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. has announced that its Advan Sport (V103) tyre has been approved by Brabus GmbH of Germany for its Brabus Rocket. Tyres will supplied n size 255/35ZR19 (96Y) for the front and 285/30ZR19 (98Y) for the rear. Yokohama Rubber have also been approved for the Brabus MV12 sport utility vehicle (SUV).
Brabus GmbH is one of the world’s top car tuners and manufacturers, specializing in Mercedes-Benz, and has been in a technological partnership with Yokohama Rubber for the development of tyres since last year. The Brabus Rocket is a highly tuned coupe based on the Mercedes-Benz CLS, with 6200cc total displacement and a maximum output of 730 hp, capable of speeds up to 350 km/h.
Since their launch in 2004, Advan Sport tyres have been adopted as original equipment by, Bentley Motors (Continental series), Porsche of Germany (911 Carrera 4), and Audi AG (for the S8).
