SureSeal Rimless Retreading Rings
Taray International’s latest product offering is a selection of “SureSeal” rimless retreading rings. According to the company, the rings have been manufactured using a high quality rubber compound which was developed to be light and easy to manoeuvre, provide extended use and cause minimal wear. The rubber ring is produced using injection-moulding technologies, which gives them their seamless form and strength.
The shape of the rings is such that its form fits around the bead area of the tyre and creates an improved envelope seal, company representatives told T&A. The rubber rings can be used in both high and low temperature systems and have proven to last up to 300+ curing cycles.
With the use of a rubber/metal ring combination and integrated J-hook saddle, retreaders have experienced a longer envelope life and protection from premature puncture due to envelope pinching. Taray International Corporation currently has 22 – 22.5-inch ring systems for sale with pre-orders being taken for 19, 19.5 and 24 – 24.5-inch variants. Additional sizes are expected soon.
Taray International Corporation has been a manufacturer and supplier to the tyre and tyre retread industry since 1979.
