Middle East Tyre Dealer Uses TireWare POS System
(Akron/Tire Review) Red Cap Total Car Care, reportedly the largest tyre dealer and service centre dealer in the Middle East, has implemented a point-of-sale (POS) solution from TireWare Inc. across its chain of retail stores. Red Cap, headquartered in Saudi Arabia, is a division of the Tamimi Group.
Integrated with Microsoft’s Great Plains accounting application, the TireWare software system provides Red Cap with retail POS, commercial billing, wholesale order entry, inventory, demand forecasting and replenishment, general ledger, accounts receivable, collection management, accounts payable, purchase orders, customer relationship management and supply chain management.
“We are very pleased with the success of the software implementation, which we believe affirms our decision to implement TireWare’s solutions and confirms TireWare’s track record of delivering on its vision,” said Al Benoit, general manager for Red Cap Total Car Care.
“TireWare’s business management solution will provide us with a solid platform and selling tool to meet our aggressive growth strategies, as we plan to open as many as 30 Red Cap locations throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).” GCC member countries include Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
