Banner Wheel Weights Put to the Test

After tests carried out in accordance with ISO 9227/DIN 50021 SD (salt spray fog effect over 240 hours on steel rims) the manufacturer says its lead-free, zinc coated impact weights are “superior.” Unlike uncoated products the Banner weights showed only slight traces of salt and no white or red rust.

The weights and wheel rims were protected by the coating and met all test criteria and EU regulations. “As a result of the quality of Banner weights 100 per cent bearing surface is created. This together with unique Banner shoulder design ensures safe and secure fixing and removal,” the company said in a statement.
