PCL Pumps up Volume at Reifen 2006
PCL has reported excellent feedback from Reifen visitors viewing its world-leading portfolio of tyre inflation products. UK-based PCL welcomed representatives of tyre shops, mobile tyre vans, garages, car dealers, fleet and transport managers from Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Thailand, Germany, Poland, Korea and Iceland. Substantial orders were placed for the EC-approved Airforce – PCL’s brand new generation of mechanical handheld air line gauges.
A shipment of orders for the innovative Accura DAC1 is also on its way to customers who were impressed with the lightweight yet robust, electronic handheld unit with a user-friendly, digital display. The Accura DAC1 is from the newly launched electronic brand Accura range which incorporates all of the existing electronic units which have come to lead the global digital tyre inflation market. Accura is PCL’s premium product range, combining the latest electronic developments with advanced software to make the highest technology features easy to use – all packaged within an attractive but functional design.
Simon Shorter, General Manager of PCL’s UK Tyre Gauge Division, said: “We were delighted with the feedback at Reifen and the number of orders taken exceeded our expectations. We’ve greatly increased our client base of customers, from fleet and truck managers to representatives of tyre shops and suppliers, looking for exciting new products to fit a range of uses. The show also illustrated the mounting interest in PCL’s Accura range and the success of its new brand launch – and judging by our success at Reifen we are confident this will catapult us to the forefront of the global market for electronic tyre inflation.”
PCL will be exhibiting at Automechanika, Frankfurt, 12 -17 September.
