MAK S.p.A. Aiming to Increase Exports
For Italian wheel company MAK S.p.A. the Automechanika show is an important event, attracting as it does so many visitors who are involved in the car components market. MAK says that the Automechanika exhibition provides a unique opportunity to meet other businessmen, investors, brokers and the press and is particularly important when you consider that 75 per cent of the company’s revenue comes from export sales. MAK S.p.A., which has always concentrated its efforts and its business on exports, participates in this show with the aim of establishing new contacts to develop its business.
During the show MAK will present three new products which feature in the company’s 2007 range, namely the MAK Vertigo – available in Hyper Silver and Mirror – MAK Canyon and MAK Fever 5R. The first wheel is characterized by a very aggressive and sporty design and is designed for medium and large cars with sporty looks and powerful engines. MAK Canyon is expressly aimed at the SUV market. Impressive and solid, this 10 joined spoke-design fits perfectly, from the stylistic point of view, the aesthetical traits of the latest and most modern SUVs. Last but not least, MAK Fever 5R, a wheel enriched by a sort of “griffe” on one of its spokes, shows a more classic and neat style.
Just a few months ago MAK launched the MAK Sierra, an innovative “original design” by After Design (www.afterdesign.it), at the Essen show. The MAK Sierra is aimed at the 4×4 market and it represents an important new model that completes the MAK range dedicated to this particular sector, which has become even more strategic and profitable in recent years.
In addition the company also makes the novel MAK HD!, the first design by MAK that is targeted at Light Trucks and Mini-Van/Campers.
