Amtel-Vredestein Wins Rus Prix Award
Amtel-Vredestein N.V. has won the 2006 “Rus Prix Award” in the category “Best investment project in The Netherlands by a Russian Company.” The Award ceremony was staged in The Hague, 10 June.
The main aim of The RUS Prix Award is to recognize companies and organizations which best promoted or exemplified the positive development of business and cultural relations between The Netherlands and the Russian Federation. Establishment of RUS Prix shows the improvement of investment climate in Russia. It helps to attract the attention of Dutch businesses to the positive developments of economical and cultural cooperation between the two countries, and improves the image of Russia around the world.
Accepting the Award on behalf of Amtel-Vredestein, Vredestein Banden B.V. CEO, Rob Oudshoorn, said: “We are happy to see a public acknowledgement of our company’s success. It is the synergy achieved by the efforts of our Dutch and Russian management which enable us to achieve as one company what we could not accomplish as separate entities.”
