Vianor and Amring to Cooperate in Sweden
The Nokian-owned Vianor AB tyre retail chain is to partner with Amring Verkstäder AB in Sweden. Following the agreement, nine Amring outlets have joined the Vianor tyre chain and become Vianor Partner outlets as of 2 May 2006. The agreement gives Amring outlets the rights to utilize Vianor brand and chain marketing, Vianor’s call centre services and personnel training programmes.
“The agreement is very valuable opening of our partner concept because it will expand the distribution of Nokian branded tyres in Sweden. In addition Vianor’s geographical coverage will widen and brand awareness increase”, says Seppo Kupi, Managing Director of Vianor Holding.
Vianor tyre chain in Sweden now includes a total of 55 own outlets and 10 Vianor Partner outlets. Vianor has a total of approximately 200 outlets in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Latvia and Russia. Vianor sells car and van tyres, truck tyres as well as heavy tyres. In addition to Nokian brand Vianor’s product range covers also other leading tyre brands and automotive products. Vianor’s net sales in totalled 235.1 million in 2005 and the chain employed a total of 1,250 people.
During the last few years Vianor network has been expanded especially in Sweden and in Russia. Approximately 30 per cent on Nokian Tyres annual sales in Nordic countries goes through Vianor.
