MAHA UK Expands

MAHA moved into their new 12,000 sq ft purpose built factory and warehouse in June 2000 with a staff of 14. Extensions to the service stores started in March 2006 and which has increased the service stores area from 650 sq ft to almost 2,000 sq ft. Bob Smith joined MAHA UK in May 2006 as an experienced parts manager to maintain and expand MAHA’s service to all their customers throughout the UK.

With 20 dedicated MAHA service engineers located from Scotland to Cornwall, it is important that all the engineers have the correct parts and tools to enable them to do the work quickly and efficiently. MAHA has a stock of parts with a value of approximately £250,000 and can now supply 99% of all parts from stock.

Louis Tunmore, aftersales director for MAHA UK says, “I am proud of the service that we give our customers and as the company grows, (we now have 35 employees), we must continue to offer our customers the service and response they have come to expect.“

Further expansion of the warehouse is expected later this year to maintain the stock of finished goods, which will increase the warehouse floor space from 8,000 square feet to 12,000 square feet. This will then give MAHA UK a total floor area of 17,000 square feet.
