Lease 360 Evolution Signs with Kwik-Fit Fleet

Established contract hire, leasing and fleet management company lease 360 evolution plc has signed a new three-year solus tyre management and fast-fit services contract with Kwik-Fit Fleet.

Wakefield-based lease 360 evolution, which was launched almost four years ago, now has 3,500 vehicles on its books. Kwik-Fit Fleet, which already supplied a raft of fast-fit services to lease 360 evolution customers through both its nationwide centre network and mobile operation, will additionally now supply fixed monthly cost tyre management under the terms of the new contract, which went live in April.

Recently lease 360 evolution has handled tyre management internally but the new initiative will enable the company to streamline its entire fast-fit focus.

Jason Buckley, Head of Fleet Operations at lease 360 evolution, said: “We looked at various options to facilitate our tyre requirements and felt that Kwik Fit’s Fixed Cost Tyre Management proposal was not only price competitive, but had the added benefit of reducing the workload involved in administrating tyre authorisations. This ease of workload will enable our maintenance control department to be more proactive in other areas.

“Having all tyre information on each car such as tread depth and tyre type recorded electronically will improve the management information at our fingertips. And most importantly through Kwik Fit’s huge buying power and all our purchases going through a single supplier we are able to reduce our tyre costs and pass savings onto our customers.”
