Kumho Considering Larger DC in Atlanta Area – Reports

(Akron/Tire Review) Reports out of Atlanta indicate that Kumho Tire USA Corp. is considering opening a new and larger warehouse and distribution centre in Henry County, Ga.

Developer Panattoni said it is developing a build-to-suit location for Kumho at its Interstate South Industrial Park, just southeast of Atlanta. According to the report, Panattoni has submitted permits for a 410,000-square-foot warehouse centre on a 20.5-acre parcel there.

Kumho currently leases a 120,000-square-foot distribution center in neighboring Clayton County, but that lease will expire in October, according to reports.
