Ken Keir and Marc Matthew join Automotive Skills’ Board
Automotive Skills, the Sector Skills Council for the retail motor industry, has welcomed Marc Matthew and Ken Keir as the newest members to their Board of Directors.
Ken Keir, Executive Vice President of Honda Europe and Managing Director of Honda UK, is a key figure within the motor industry. His past experiences include time at British Leyland, Peugeot and Renault UK. In 1998 he was promoted to Managing Director of Honda UK, responsible for all Honda UK corporate matters, cars, motorcycles and power equipment. Then, in 2002, he also became the first European to be appointed as Executive Vice-President, Honda Motor Europe with additional responsibility for the development of the European sales networks.
Marc Matthew is the Chairman of the Lifestyle dealer group based in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. He has been in the industry since 1983 and has worked hard to instil the core values behind training and the recognition it deserves for his staff. This is further illustrated as he is also a Director of the Institute of Motor Industry.
