ATS Euromaster Names New Managing Director

ATS Euromaster has appointed Ian Stuart as its new Group Managing Director, taking up the role with immediate effect. The news follows reports of previous MD Nick Gregg’s departure a little over a month ago.

Ian Stuart started his career as a salesman with Kenning Tyre Services in the London area in 1980, followed by periods as Centre Manager and in Regional Sales. After a four-year period as Regional Sales Manager in London and the South East with National Tyres & Autocare, Ian joined ATS Euromaster as a Regional Manager in London and then became Managing Director of W.S. Tyremasters.

Stuart left the UK in 1998 to progress his career as Regional Director with Euromaster France based in Paris. Since 2001 he has held senior management positions in central and northern Europe with Euromaster, most recently as Managing Director of the Northern Europe Zone being responsible for the business in the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland and Denmark.

Commenting on his appointment Stuart said: “I’m very pleased to come back to the UK after 8 years abroad to take on the responsibility for the UK business which is a great challenge. The company has moved on significantly in the past few years adapting to our changing customer needs, whilst still building on our heritage and tyre industry experience.”
