Two New TruckForce Regional Managers
Goodyear Dunlop has announced the appointment of two new Regional Managers to further strengthen their service provider TruckForce.
A major investment has been made in Goodyear Dunlop’s new truck tyre service provider network for the road transport industry. TruckForce focuses on the commercial vehicle and bus market with planned, preventative tyre maintenance and on-site service with each region having a central TruckForce hub with a network of satellite service points and stock holding locations supporting these.
Bob Mason and Nigel Sowerby will be managing Goodyear Dunlop’s company-owned truck locations, known as TruckForce Centres, which will be complemented by TruckForce dealer partners to give some 250 UK service points. They will be responsible for the roll out of the TruckForce hubs one by one as all commercial business for Goodyear Dunlop is placed into dedicated hubs and spokes.
Mason will cover the North and Sowerby the South with each responsible for 8 hubs, 25 spokes and around 150 staff.
Bob Mason was previously Regional Manager for Hi-Q in the North East and has worked for the company for 32 years. He has progressed through the company working in a variety of positions including Store Manager before being promoted into the Regional Manager role in 2002.
Nigel Sowerby has recently been appointed from Commercial Vehicle Parts Suppliers, Serck Intertruck. His latest position there was working as Sales and Operations Manager having worked for the company for 22 years, joining it in 1984 as a management trainee.
