GPX Appoints New VP Global OE

GPX International Tire Corporation has appointed Kedar D Murthy as vice president of global OEM sales. Mr Murthy will be based in GPX’s headquarters, in Malden, Massachusetts. Kedar brings 18 years of experience in global sales and marketing, international business development, operations, eBusiness and finance.

He has held progressive leadership positions with Air Products and Chemicals, General Electric and most recently with Cabot Corporation, where he worked on several of Cabot’s Joint Ventures, led Cabot’s global sales and technical service organization and worked in Information Technology leading a team to develop Cabot’s corporate website.

GPX operates wholly-owned manufacturing facilities in North America and Europe, as well as a global network of outsourced production facilities. GPX regards Original Equipment Manufacturers as a strategic component of its business.
