Vredestein to Launch New Tyre and Logo
(Akron/Tire Review) Vredestein Tyres North America plans to introduce the new Ultrac Sessanta later this year, which the company says is its “newest trump card in the UHP segment.”
Giugiaro Design has also created a restyled logo for Vredestein. “The design of the new logo is more streamlined and the lettering is more powerful,” the company said. “The new logo is more in line with Vredestein’s image and Vredestein’s quality products in the top sports segment.”
Based on its Ultrac series, the Ultrac Sessanta, said Vredestein, “has excellent handling properties both on a dry and a wet road surface” and remains uncompromisingly straight on track and, what is more, it is also quiet.
The new line is also the fifth collaboration project between Vredestein and Giugiaro Design. The Y-rated tyres will be available in 18- to 20- diameters.
The Ultrac Sessanta targets upper end sports cars, such as the Maserati Coupé, BMW 5, Audi S6 and S8, and the Mercedes CLK AMG, as well as the sport tuning segment, Vredestein said.
