Tyre-Burning Go-Ahead for South African Cement Works

The South African Government has given permission for cement company Holcim to use alternative, waste-based fuels at its cement plant outside Kimberley. Scrap tyres are included in the list of possible fuels, although possible numbers were not mentioned.
