NTDA to Lead Regional Run-Flat Seminars
The NTDA is planning to organise a series of seminars up and down the country devoted to the subject of run-flat tyres. The announcement follows a series of similar events centred around proposed new legislation on safe material handling, which attracted over 200 members during the winter months.
Because of BMW’s, and other car manufacturers, commitment to fitting run flat tyres on a wide cross section of its vehicles, the UK tyre trade is increasingly faced with having to service run-flat tyres.
The presentations will cover the technical aspects of run-flats, their repairability, practical advice on mounting and demounting without damaging the sensors and how the market might expand over the next few years.
