Michelin Launches Roadside Service Program in China
(Akron/Tire Review) Groupe Michelin launched a new service product in China called Sui Ni Xing or “Drive Without Worry,” according to China Daily. The product, which includes services such as 24-hour roadside assistance, free tyre repair, towing and warranty programs, will be available in China within the next two years.
Emmanuel Ladent, marketing and sales director of Michelin China passenger car and light truck tires, replacement market, reportedly stated the program would increase customer loyalty to the Michelin brand as well as the company’s dealership network.
Dealerships must pass an authentication process to earn membership. Approximately 1,000 dealerships meet requirements, Ladent said. Next month, the company will start promotion and training conferences in various Chinese cities.
