The National Tyres ‘Branch Manager of the Year 2005’ award has been won by Michael Gough of the Farnborough branch – along with a brand new Mini Cooper. Michael (53) came in top place for branch manager of the year, achieving record sales and receiving excellent feedback for customer service in the branch. Tony Neill, managing director presented Michael with his award.

Michael has vast experience in the automotive industry and has been with National Tyres for a number of years, citing it as one of the best employers to work for. Michael is an aviation enthusiast and qualified pilot, and enjoys spending his free time in the air.

Michael said: “I was delighted to be named Branch Manager of the Year and the Mini Cooper was a real bonus on top of the recognition for the whole team’s hard work. Without their commitment and energy we wouldn’t have achieved so much, so I owe them all my thanks as well.”

Tony Neill added: “Michael thoroughly deserved this award after all the work he has put in over the past year and we expect great things from him in the future.”
