Conti Promises ‘Cash for Customers’ if Breakdown Service Delayed
This breakdown assistance is provided at guaranteed fixed prices, for which purpose the countries covered are grouped into two regions. The newly introduced DriveOn Time feature guarantees a maximum time for a tyre puncture to be repaired; should that exceed three hours in region A (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, UK, Netherlands) or four hours in region B (Switzerland, Spain, Estonia, France, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, Portugal, Poland, Sweden, Slovakia, Ukraine), the customer is entitled to a reimbursement of 100 euros.
Continental has announced a further enhancement of CBS with its ‘DriveOn Time’ guarantee, which reimburses the customer 100 euros should a predefined maximum breakdown repair time be exceeded.
In the event of a tyre puncture, the truck driver can call ContiEuroService (CES), which immediately instructs one of its 4,500 European CES partners to attend the breakdown in the shortest possible time.
