Yokohama to Provide Super Series Tyres

Yokohama will supply tyres and sponsorship to the 2006 Rallycross Super Series, after signing an agreement with their promoters. Yokohama tyres are currently used as the control tyre in the Junior, Senior Minicross and Stock Hatch Rallycross categories and the company will make a series of new tyres for the Rallycross series.

“We are delighted that Yokohama will now be an official sponsor of the Rallycross Super Series, as well as the supplier of the control tyres for the three classes; Junior, Senior Minicross and the Stock Hatch category,! said Yokohama motorsport manager, Mark Evans.

“The concept of the series is very much in keeping with what Yokohama believes in – performance, excitement, reliability and value for money. The Rallycross Super Series fits perfectly into Yokohama’s motorsport portfolio, particularly in the UK.”
