QuickSilver Exhaust for Range Rover Sport
QuickSilver has introduced a stainless steel exhaust system for the new Range Rover Sports Supercharged, which the company says allows the speed and volume of the exhaust gas flow to be increased, thus producing a noticeable improvement in throttle response. There is a choice of two systems available; ‘Sports’ and ‘Supersports.’
‘Sports’ is aimed at the high-mileage driver and includes two efficient silencers to provide a pleasant increase in depth at lower revs. ‘Supersports’ has a crisp roar and even better flow, less weight and improved efficiency. The system produces a distinct sound with more volume throughout the revs.
However, it is not just about sound, as QuickSilver expects an improvement of around 20 bhp, with more torque and better throttle response. The reduced weight (10 kgs lighter) will benefit all areas of performance, while the systems look good too – there is a choice of tail pipes, with 2 x 102mm round carbon fibre tips or 4 x 90mm round polished stainless steel tips.
The systems are a bolt-on fitment, so no modifications are required and of course, being made of stainless steel, are long lasting as well as efficient and attractive.
