New Tyres Unveiled at Chicago Auto Show
(Akron/Tire Review) As it has in recent years, Bridgestone Americas Holding (BAH) is sponsoring the media center at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show, 10 – 19 February, and is using the event to showcase new technology and products. BAH plans appearances by Mario Andretti and 2005 Indy 500 champion Dan Wheldon, and will display the 1911 Marmom Wasp that Ray Harroun drove to victory in the very first Indy 500.
A slew of new tyres will also be on display in the BAH booth, including the Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport, Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R, Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position, Potenza RE960AS Pole Position, Firestone FR710 and the Fuzion XTi.
“For three consecutive years we’ve been the exclusive tire company of the Chicago Auto show, and our partnership with the show has given our brands and our products great visibility with consumers,” said Christine Karbowiak, BAH’s vice president of public affairs. “This year we’re proud to present an exhibit that both reflects our company’s three important core values – trust, innovation and safety – and introduces visitors to our diverse businesses in the Americas, as well as our global capabilities.”
