New Bridgestone Firestone Commercial Truck & Bus Promotions
Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT) is to start two new promotions within the commercial truck & bus group. Kurt Danielson, currently director, commercial marketing, has accepted a new assignment as executive director, commercial marketing for the US and Canadian markets effective 1 January. Kurt is responsible for the marketing of all truck and bus tyre brands, which includes the Bridgestone, Firestone and Dayton lines in both the US and Canada. In addition, Kurt is also responsible for product planning, supply/inventory planning and Oncor retreading.
Art Campagnoni, currently director, commercial sales, has been promoted to executive director, commercial sales effective 1 January. He will be responsible for the sales of all truck and bus tyre brands, including Bridgestone, Firestone and Dayton, in both the US and Canada. In addition to replacement tyre sales through our dealer network, Art’s responsibilities include the sales direction of our original equipment, truckstops and national fleet sales groups.
In announcing both promotions to BFNT team-mates, Singh Ahluwalia, president, truck tyre sales said: “Art and Kurt have been instrumental to the success of the truck and bus tire group. Our company is extremely fortunate to have their leadership as we face the competitive business of tomorrow.”
