New Appointment at Amtel-Vredestein Voronezh Tire Complex
Amtel-Vredestein N.V. has appointed Victor Tuluk as general director of Amtel-Chernozemye Tire Production Complex in Voronezh. He replaces Vyacheslav Chemerinsky.
Vyachelsav Chemerinsky, who leaves the company to pursue other interests, will remain a member of the board of directors at Amtel-Chernozemye. He is also a deputy of the Voronezh Duma. “Vyachelsav has expertly managed the arduous task of bringing our Voronoezh facility into the 21st century. We are grateful he will remain on the plant’s board,” said Amtel-Vredestein CEO, Alexei Gurin.
Mr Tuluk was most recently the General Director of Amtel-Sibir, the Krasnoyarsk tyre complex Amtel-Vredestein sold in January. He is a tyre industry veteran and former first deputy general director of Amtel-Chernozemye, making him an obvious choice to succeed Mr Chemerinsky. “Victor knows our business as well as anyone in our industry. He is the perfect candidate to supervise our Voronoezh-II project and manage our on-going cost-cutting and efficiency programs at Amtel-Chernozemye,” said Gurin.
Voronezh-II is a new production line under construction at the Amtel-Chernozemye complex. It is being completed under the guidance of engineers from the Amtel-Vredestein’s Dutch subsidiary. It will produce the company’s flagship Vredestein brand for distribution throughout the CIS and Europe.
