Marangoni Completes Tennessee Plant Expansion
(Akron/Tire Review) Marangoni Tread North America said it has completed expansion at its Nashville, Tennessee, tread rubber plant, effectively doubling capacity at the facility.
“Now, about 75 per cent of our North American demand can be manufactured domestically,” said Bill Sweatman, Marangoni N.A.’s president. “In the last 14 months we have added six new dealer plants to our network here in the US, and this latest expansion should go a long way to improve our responsiveness to all of our customer needs.”
Included in the plant expansion was new modular production technology – called Alpha Ring Evolution – designed to improve tread stick quality and performance.
