Amtel-Vredestein Names New CFO

Amtel-Vredestein has named Antonius (Ton) Tholens, as its new Chief Financial Officer. Tholens, who also serves as a member on AV’s executive board, replaces outgoing CFO, Victor Nekrassov.

“Ton is already one of our group’s most valued executives. We are delighted that he will now be at the financial helm of Amtel-Vredestein NV,” said CEO, Alexei Gurin.

Several appointments were also announced at AV’s Russian subsidiary, OJSC Amtel-Vredestein. Chief Operating Officer and former Head of Internal Audit Department at Amtelshinprom, Mr Karen Topchiyan, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer.

Sergei Bokhanov, current Head of Sales and Marketing, becomes Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director. Bokhanov will also assume the seat vacated by Mr Nekrassov on AV’s Executive Board.
