Al-Dobowi Group at Dubai Aftermarket Show
The Al-Dobowi Group has announced plans to participate in the 11th International Automotive Aftermarket ‘AAME 2006’ scheduled to be held from 20 – 22 March 2006 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai, UAE. The Middle East’s Automotive Industry is estimated to be worth around 18 billion dirhams (£2.8 billion, 4.1 billion euros).
“We are delighted to have joined the one of the oldest Auto Spare Parts and Aftermarket Shows in the Middle East. This will be our first participation in AAME and judging by the track record and the profile of the show we are confident that it would open up new business avenues for us in the region,” commented Surender Singh Kandhari, chairman, Al-Dobowi Group.
The Al Dobowi Group was formed in 1976 to address the needs of a growing tyre management and service industry in the Middle East. Ameinfo reported that Al-Dobowi’s works in cooperation with: Bandag, Baxenden Chemicals, Bergougnan, Caltex, Ceat Tyres, Chao Yang Tyres, Chloride Motive Power, Continental Tires, Enoc, Eppco, Exide Technologies, General Tire, Goodyear, Hankook Batteries, Hankook Tires, Infinity, Just Rollers, Pirelli Tires, Prestolite, Rema Tip Top, Yuasa etc.
AAME, organized by International Expo Consults is now in its 11 year and is recognized as the premium show in the aftermarket industry, which has seen it grow over the years. Spread across 2 halls and over 2500 square meters, this year’s AAME is expected to be bigger compared to last year. This year’s event will feature over 225 companies from 10 countries across the world. Over 5,000 professional business visitors from 30 countries are expected to attend.
