Kreinbrink Named Albany Plant Manager
Cooper Tire & Rubber Company has named Rodney A Kreinbrink as plant manager for its Albany, Georgia, manufacturing facility. Kreinbrink will oversee the daily operations of Cooper’s 3rd largest plant, which produces about 11.5 million tyres per year and employs almost 1,600 people. Kreinbrink succeeds William Bonner who retired at the end of 2005.
A 17-year Cooper veteran, Kreinbrink has been serving as Albany’s production manager since June of this year. Kreinbrink has served in various engineering and manufacturing capacities including director, reliability engineering at the company’s tyre division headquarters in Findlay as well as several department management positions in the Findlay plant.
Kreinbrink holds an MBA from the University of Tiffin, Tiffin, Ohio, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron, Akron, Ohio. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
