ATSE Appointment Strengthens CV Position

ATS Euromaster has made its third significant appointment to its national sales team in four months – signalling the clearest indication yet of its plans to become market leaders in the fleet car and commercial vehicle tyre service sectors.

Peter Fairlie takes up the role of national sales director for ATS Euromaster’s truck tyre division, reporting directly to group sales director Paul Burnell, who was appointed in September 2005, followed by Russell Fleetwood as national car sales director. This was the first major hint ATS Euromaster was reshaping its sales force from the highest level.

The 44-year-old joins the ATS Euromaster team with a wealth of experience within the commercial vehicle sector, having spent the two previous years as strategic accounts director at Northgate, the UK’s largest commercial vehicle rental company. Prior to joining Northgate, Peter spent nine years at Masterlease, where he held numerous senior sales roles.

Reflecting on the appointment Peter Fairlie said: “These are clearly exciting times at ATS Euromaster and I am delighted to be on board. It is undoubtedly going to be a challenge to maintain our number one position as a service provider to the commercial vehicle sector, but one I am going to relish.”
