QuickSilver Exhaust for Bentley Continental GT

Most people would agree that the sound is an important part of driving a ‘Sports’ car. However, when it comes to the Bentley Continental GT, the original factory silencers are cleverly designed but too quiet for many drivers’ tastes, says exhaust specialist QuickSilver.

QuickSilver’s design team has developed a ‘Sports’ system with internals created to allow the volume and flow to increase in proportion with rpm. This provides a unique, higher pitched and crisper exhaust note, while a much more efficient exhaust gas flow means a real improvement in turbo response and acceleration.

The system can be used regularly around town, allowing conversation and listening to the radio – as the revs increase the volume keeps on rising. At moderate pace it does not spoil the luxury of this Bentley but at higher engine speeds the V12 engine takes on a real sporting sound that cannot be matched anywhere, claims QuickSilver.

The whole system is made from 304 austenitic stainless steel, thus effectively ensuring the exhaust system will be corrosion free for 25 years. It comes with a choice of tail-pipes: all-polished and designed to retain the factory trims which are fitted to the body, or an all-polished system but with 2 x 63mm longer rolled-end polished tail-pipes each side (4 in all) that emerge through the original holes in the rear bumper –no modification is needed.
