Industry Seminar at The Aftermarket Show
The Aftermarket Show, which runs from 12 – 15 January at Birmingham NEC, has announced a seminar programme that will focus on important aftermarket and tyre industry issues. The show organisers, Haymarket Exhibitions, are teaming up with one of the show sponsors the Tyre Industry Council (TIC) to stage a seminar programme that will take place within the exhibition hall itself, which, it is hoped, will encourage increased visitor attendance and support from exhibitors.
To be known as TalkShop, the seminars will cover a range of subjects relevant to the aftermarket. Each of the planned sessions will have an overall theme and speakers will be drawn from leading companies and organisations in their respective fields.
Some of the subjects to be covered include: Recycling of garage products and in particular tyres, tyre developments including run-flat technology and cold weather tyres, plus training and recruitment.
The TalkShop seminars will take two forms. Trade seminars will be the focus of the first two days of the show (12 and 13 January). The target will be switched on the following two days (14 and 15 January) when it will become more consumer orientated with the subjects more related to motor sport.
There will be no charge to attend any of the seminars, however, space will be limited on a first come first served basis.
