CTNA Gets OE Deal From Autocar

(Akron/Tire Review) Continental Tire North America (CTNA) said that its Continental brand medium truck tyres have earned standard equipment fitments on Autocar’s Xpeditor line of trucks. The OE contract includes CTNA’s Continental HSU and HDL steer and drive tyre lines.

“Pairing Autocar’s advanced Xpeditor truck design with the technology driven performance of the Continental lineup is truly an exciting supplier partnership that will benefit industry professionals,” said Cliff Armstrong, CTNA’s director of OE and marketing.

“Since day one at Autocar, a key part of our strategy is to seek out the strongest component manufacturers and build a strong partnership with them,” said Tom Vatter, Autocar vice president of sales and marketing. “We have been very successful in doing just that. CTNA falls right into our game plan. Continental tyres are a high quality product and are well respected in the industries we sell into. I believe this will strengthen the overall value of the Xpeditor.”
