Woman Killed at Voroznezh Rubber Plant
One woman was killed and two more were seriously injured during a fire at the synthetic rubber plant in Voronezh, Russia sources at the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations told the Itar-Tass news agency.
The fire began at the polymer shop at 00:41 Moscow time on 23 November. There were 15 people in the facility when the fire broke out. Most escaped, but one woman died in the blaze and two metalworkers received serious burns and were rushed to hospital. The fire, which began on the ground floor, spread to the first and second floors, according to Itar-Tass. It was put out at 04:55. Twenty-nine fire engines helped combat the blaze.
