Omitec Joins IMI Approved Centre Network

Following a detailed audit of its training resources and assessment procedures, Omitec Limited has been appointed an approved assessment centre of the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI).

Delivered through its team of specialist training advisors, Omitec’s courses in Practical and Advanced Diagnostics have been accredited by the IMI as part of its Quality Assured Awards (QAA) initiative, for assessed industry training programmes.

Technicians completing either of these accredited programmes will be awarded a unique QAA certificate from the IMI, which provides the individual with independent verification of their professional competence in a specific discipline or area of expertise.

Furthermore, graduates of the Practical Diagnostics course are entitled to apply for Associate (AMIMI) membership of the IMI, with those completing the Advanced Diagnostics course eligible for the grade of full Member (MIMI).
